Glen Spencer
Glen is a Pastor at Bayside Community Church – a Baptist church planted about 10 years ago in the Homebush Bay area (Sydney). He provides leadership to the areas of Worship & Discipleship.
He has been writing leading worship teams and writing songs for churches for over 15 years.
As a songwriter Glen has received a number of awards, most notably “How Great You Are” awarded ‘Best Gospel Song’ at the 2005 Australian Gospel Music Awards across all categories. He has also been a finalist at the Musicoz awards.
His desire is that the songs we write as a denomination will bring glory to God – and play a small part in transforming the lives of those who hear and sing them. He is looking forward to energetically pursuing opportunities for the ministries of music & songwriting to develop and expand within the Baptist denomination, yet always as an outflow of a vibrant relationship with our God and Saviour.
